The people who bought apartments from the residential property projects of the important construction companies of Turkey, to which trustees have been appointed following the attempted coup on 15 July, are questioning whether they will be able to take delivery of their apartments. Nabi Ağbal, the Minister for Finance, has given the answer to the question, ‘What will happen to those who have bought properties from the construction companies which have been transferred to the TMSF or to which administrators have been appointed’: “The people who have bought properties from the construction companies to which trustees have been appointed, will receive their apartments.”
What will happen to those who bought Properties from the Dumankaya Group and from Fi-Yapı?
People who have paid deposits for, are continuing to pay for the properties, or who have bought properties for cash, from important construction companies such as the Dumankaya Group and Fi-Yapı, have been feeling uneasy about these apartments after administrators were appointed to these companies. Naci Ağbal, the Minister for Finance, has now reassured them. He has said that people who have purchased apartments from the companies which have been transferred to the TMSF or to which administrators have been appointed, with the allegations that they provided financial support to the terrorist organization within the scope of the investigation into FETO/PDY, or those who did business with these companies, would not be affected from this situation. Naci Ağbal, who stated that their aim was not to bring harm to anyone, said, “The customers will get their properties.”
