Turkish Statistical Institute (Tuik) has announced the number of housing sales to foreigners in 2018
According to the annual report, Housing sales to foreigners in 2018 broke a new record.
in 2018 total sales of 40.044 units took place and increased by 79% compared to last year. In 2017, this figure was 22.428 units.
In 2018, with the sale of 8.205 housing units, the iraqi citizens were again in the first rank. Saudi Arabian citizens who took second place last year were replaced by Iranians. Iranian citizens ranked second with 3.652 housing units in 2018.
On the other side, the difficulties faced by Saudi Arabian Citizens against the purchase of housing in Turkey showed the effect. The housing purchases of Saudis from Turkey decreased by 19%.
