Akasya Acıbadem project, the favorite living center of the Anatolian side of Istanbul at the MIPIM Awards organized for the 23rd time this year, which will determine the World’s Best Real Estate Projects.
Akasya Acıbadem, which was developed by Mimarlar (Architects) Workshop led by Mehpare Evrenol, is in the final round as the only Turkish real estate development in the ‘Best Housing Project’ category whose results will be announced during the award ceremony that will be held on 14, March, 2013 as part of MIPIM.
The projects shortlisted for the final round will be on offer for public voting on the blog.mipimworld.com site and MIPIM social networks between the dates 11 February-11 March 2013. Four nominees in every category for the awards were identified by the jury.
The construction of Akasya Acıbadem, one of the nominees of MIPIM Awards started in the year 2009. The project consists of the Göl (Lake), Koru (Grove) and Kent (City) laps.
The inhabitants moved in the 896 flats located in Göl and Koru laps in the year 2012. This real estate project has an ambitious landscape and in its center is the Central Park, which is 26 sq m wide. The Kent Lap, which will rise above the most prestigious shopping center of the Anatolian Side of Istanbul, houses a 180-m-high residence building with 40 floors and a horizontal block of floors each with floor gardens. The tower in the Kent Lap has flats amenable for use as home–offices as well as 24 penthouse suites in different types with views of the Bosphorus and the sea. The horizontal block with 16 floors all of which have floor gardens offers new living options in different surface areas.
The MIPIM Awards event, which will award the best real estate projects of the world is to be held in Cannes, France between 12-15 March 2013 for the 23rd time. As part of the MIPIM Expo where Turkey has been selected ‘Country of Honor’ of the year 2013, the results will be announced on 14 March 2013.
