A study conducted by EVA Real Estate Appraisal in Antalya reveals that the need for residential properties and building work has gained pace in the city, which has grown swiftly in the recent years in particular, as a result of migration.
Luxury properties becoming prevalent
Ibrahim Ceylan, the senior valuation expert of EVA, states that the population of the center of Antalya, which is the 5th most populated city of Turkey, has neared 1.3 million, and that the need for residential properties in the city, which has grown together with the continuous migration it has received in recent years, has also increased. Ceylan, who stated that currently luxury properties are becoming more and more prevalent in the Molla Yusuf, Uncalı and Gürsu neighborhoods known as the Konaklar region in the district of Konyaaltı, says that the square meter unit prices in these regions are between 4.000-5.000 TL. Ceylan says that the sales of residential properties to foreigners in Konyaaltı is high, and that branded properties are also increasing in the Hurma region.
