Citizenship for those who purchase residential properties
Nihat Zeybekci, the Minister for the Economy, who spoke at the forum organized by the international media organization, Global Connection, said that companies from the two countries would be financing investments in third countries, with the Turkish – Russian Joint Investment Fund, which is to be established in the near future. Minister Zeybekci stated that Russian and Turkish businessmen would receive capital support from this fund, in particular in the rebuilding of Iraq and Syria.
A Turquoise Card will be issued for foreign investors
Zeybekci, who announced that unique opportunities would be presented to the foreign nationals who invest in Turkey, with the System of Incentives to be announced next week, gave the following hints: “A Turquoise Card will be issued to those who buy movable or immovable properties, in order to give them unlimited residency or citizenship. With this card, foreign investors will be able to take advantage of all of the rights enjoyed by Turkish nationals.”
A new phase has been entered in the relations between Turkey and Russia
Investors from the two countries are to invest in third countries, such as Syria, through a joint fund. A Russian university is to be established in Turkey and citizenship is to be given to those who buy real estate.
