The steps have been prepared for Turkey to make its mark on 2017 with its economy.
Nihat Zeybekci, the Minister for the Economy, stated that they would lighten the burden of the private sector even further, and said that they would be moving into a period of incentives which are specifically tailored to individuals and businesses. Zeybekci, who stated that they were preparing for a new offensive in exports, said that they would be working on the capacities of the regional markets until the end of the year.
The government is preparing to set in motion the investment and reform drives which will ensure that Turkey makes its mark on 2017 with its economy. Nihat Zeybekci, the Minister for the Economy, stated that they were endeavoring to ensure that the state moves out of the way of the private sector in the coming period, and that they had made preparations for numerous steps, which would pave the way for growth in exports.
Citizenship for foreign nationals who buy properties
Zeybekci also stated that they were working to ensure that tourism is counted as exports and included within the scope of exports, and said, “We are focusing on supporting the hotels which serve foreign nationals, in the same way as exporters, and for the invoices for these services to be counted as export invoices. This will also be valid for health tourism. We are also going to give residency to foreign nationals who come to Turkey and buy residential properties above a certain price. On request, citizenship will also be given as soon as possible too.”
