Iranians living in Turkey, opens the door for Turkish citizenship by buying houses in Turkey in order to recover their investments in their countries which is under US economic sanctions.
The sanctions imposed under Washington’s policies to make concessions from its nuclear program has put Iran’s economy in a difficult position.
The Iranians Speaking to the Reuters news agency talked about why they had choosen residential investment in Turkey. For their cause, having a similar culture, the majority of which are Muslims, and the convenience afforded to foreigners when opening a business.
More than 250 Iranians invested in Turkish property since September 2018
Previously, citizenship rights was given for $ 1 million usd real estate investment which decreased to $ 250 thousand usd at last. Foreigners who want to be Turkish citizens should not sell this property for 3 years.
Iranian lawyer Ali Asgarzarde, who plans to move from Tabriz to Istanbul with his family, says that many of his friends have bought houses from Istanbul or Izmir as plan B.

Inthe first 8 months of this year the number of Iranians who bought property in Turkey doubled. The real estate prices in Turkey are cheaper than Western countries. Bureaucratic procedures for acquiring real estate by foreigners is almost zero and this is another fact that attracts foreigners.
