According to Turkey Data Processing Base TUVIUS research, the total value of 5.2 billion square meters land in Istanbul is 2 trillion dollars.
Ishak Kurtuluş Altun, General Manager of TUVIUS, who is working in the Teknopark of Yıldız Technical University, gave information about the results of the last research they have done.
Altun expressed that they were able to evaluate all the land and land outside the areas where the road, the lake and the value cannot be assigned and the areas where the sale cannot be realized in Istanbul, whose total area is about 5.2 billion square meters.
Altun says, “We have determined the total land and land value of Istanbul as 2 trillion 50 billion 974 million 856 thousand 94 dollars, which we have rounded to an average of 2 trillion dollars.”
Most valuable districts on European side
According to the report, the most valuable district is Şişli followed by Beyoglu, Beşiktaş, Zeytinburnu and Fatih, and the average land square meter value in these districts changed between 10 and 25 thousand liras.
The other precious cities on this side are Bakırköy and Güngören. General Manager Altun said, “The average land and land values will be 2,500 liras to 5 thousand liras in Sarıyer, Gaziosmanpaşa, Eyüp, Sultangazi, Esenler, Küçükçekmece, Avcılar, Esenyurt and 1000 liras to 2 thousand 500 liras in Başakşehir and Beylikdüzü.”
