Loyalty System in Real Estate Sales to Foreign Nationals

İnanç Kabadayı, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of EGE Yapı, has underlined the fact that Turkey is a country which is the apple of the eye of foreign nationals.

Kabadayı said, “A loyalty card which presents certain advantages – which we can call the Turquoise Card – can be established in order to increase sales to foreign investors, as a first stage.” Kabadayı continued as follows: “Our branded cities need to be promoted intensively and our country needs to be positioned as a center of attraction, in order to ensure that foreign nationals acquire real estate in Turkey. In this way the tourism sector will also gain momentum.”

Development rights for a minimum of 5 years

Kabadayı stated that certain steps needed to be taken for the players of the sector, saying, “For example, the previously acquired rights in the development plans can be ensured. When land is purchased or an agreement is signed, the existing development right can be continued for a minimum of 5 years. In addition to this, a reduction in the sales duties and the minimum title transfer fees being based on the appraisal value will put our sector at ease.”
