Guriev, who stated that Turkey was still an appealing investment region for foreign investors, is of the opinion that, ‘Western economies are giving investors zero percent or in real terms, negative interest rates. Investors are searching for high profits and it is not easy to find these areas. In this sense, the economic foundations of Turkey are solid’.
